Western Australia has a great school system that serves our students and communities very well. Over recent years, we have seen a growth in important measures such as literacy and numeracy achievement and the number of students finishing Year 12 with a Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE).

To inform the Pathways to Post-School Success review, the Expert Panel is inviting all interested stakeholders to provide a submission in response to the discussion paper.

The primary intent of the review is to help all Western Australian school students reach their full potential by accessing the post-school study, training or employment pathways that align with their abilities and aspirations.

A comprehensive review to provide the Western Australian State Government with advice, recommendations and options to strengthen pathways from secondary school so all students can fulfil their learning potential and transition into further education, training or work.

Senior secondary education is an opportunity to prepare students for pathways post-school. Western Australian (WA) senior secondary students range in location, backgrounds, and aspirations. Post-school opportunities for students are equally broad and the pathways chosen relate to decisions made during senior secondary education.
